The team at The Inde Design Studio recognizes that a home is more than a place to sleep, eat, and entertain. Rather, it’s a place to make memories.
“We have brilliant, experienced designers who are really passionate about what they do,” said Andrea Greco, studio manager of Inde. “They work with everyone,from young families moving into their starter homes to retirees creating their forever homes. And they treat each design job like it’s their own.”
The Rochester area residential remodeling business, which Jeff and Scott Morrell started in 2010 with James Barbato Sr. and James Barbato Jr., has blossomed into a full-service design studio replete with seven full-time kitchen and bath designers, three design associates, three design consultants, and several craftsmen.
Together, they specialize in designing breathtaking kitchens and bathrooms for both new and remodeled homes, and provide design expertise, materials, and construction work.
“We’re a one-stop shop, which makes it really convenient for our clients,” Greco said. Inde works directly with clients of local builders to design their homes and guide them in selecting many of the home finishes. Potential clients are also welcome to browse the showroom, which is open six days a week, for ideas and inspiration.
“We love walk-ins,” Greco said. “It’s a great place to gather ideas, take pictures, and formulate a vision of what you want.”

In that meeting, a designer will get a sense of each homeowner’s specific style, budget, and timeline. If it feels like a good fit, the designer will visit the client’s home to measure the space, take photos, and prepare an estimate of the cost and scope of work.
Afterwards, a design consultant will join the conversation to discuss choices for lighting, backsplash, tile, and other finishes to complete the design vision.
“The design team will work with you to finalize your selections in line with your taste and budget,” Greco said.
“There are numerous decisions to be made when you’re remodeling a major part of your home or building a new one. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.” Once all the selection and design decisions are made, Inde’s skilled production team takes over to make your vision a reality.
